Heroic Acts and Heroic Personalities

A hero is more like being brave and caring in situations that they normally won’t do. They put themselves in weird and uncomfortable positions just to help someone else in their time or need. So I do believe that a hero is someone who commits heroic acts. Some whose behavior and personality fit the idea of what a hero is like, may not be an actually hero because you can think you are a hero but may not have the qualities of one.

According to the movie “Hero” Bernie LaPlant went from trying to keep a low profile to being someone’s undercover hero but he let John Bubber take the credit for it. He didn’t want anyone to think he was a perfect role model of a hero but it was part of it. La Plant went into a burning airplane and saved 54 “unknown passengers” just for the little boy who thought he was going to lose his father. That’s something a real hero will do risk his life for others. Now if that’s not a harmful position or hero role for someone else then that must be brave and caring “qualities of a hero”. With him just hesitating and debating to finally come to a conclusion to finally grow the courage to actually save those people lives made a huge difference in those peoples life. Even at the end when he went to risk his life again for a little girl falling into a tiger cage. That’s an act no ordinary person will do not less they count their self as a hero and brave or maybe even caring too much for someone else “which is hard to find”.

On the other hand John Bubber played his role as a “hero” but he really wasn’t due to some qualities. He didn’t risk his life for anyone which had led him to be dishonest in a role in played with a whole lot of people but, he did inspire the youth and other people into believing they can do anything if they put their mind into it. That’s a good example of “behavior and personality fit the idea of what a hero is like”. Having the encourage to have people seek things in that they never did before is somewhat like a hero role because he made them to believe. Bubber inspired the boy to come out of that comer, he believed in the boy, which encourages the boy to believe in himself and make the impossible, possible to happen.

In a conclusion, there’s a strong difference into actually being a hero and not quite meeting all the standards to meeting all the standards but not quite being an actually hero. Being a hero comes with way more qualities then just more than one or two.

Blog: 8

According to the passage "Is Music a Good Tool for Health?" actually only indicates that music has really played a major role to numerous of people also it has a profound effect on your body and mind. Throughout this passage, theories have been well stated and been proving true. It basically talks about an "music therapy" which people regain help through music it also how it helps to heal the sickness whether it's regarding to cancer patients down to children just with attention problems. Those theories been well provided and so helpful that hospitals are starting to use it for patients regarding to depression, pain management, etc. which can be very well necessary.

The article stated "This is not surprising, as music affects the body and mind in many powerful ways." Depending on whether or not your body gives a full affect with the changes of different kinds of music, you could state whether or not this statement "This is not surprising, as music affects the body and mind in many powerful ways", can actually be true.  For example, you have a several things in mind such as thoughts and ideas but you don’t feel comfortable speaking or nor do want to speak on it. But so happen you decided to play some soft, touching slow jams and that one song so happen explain everything you may be going through, not only did it hit the spot but it also has you in deep thoughts and your body will start to react on it. You become more at ease because your mind met your body through the soft touching tunes.

Another example, you so upset for whatever the reason or situation maybe and you just really want to react but don’t want to pay for the consequences later on that day. No one can stop you nor do you even want to hear what anyone has to say, but you do decide to listen to music. Being in that area alone while listening to some good music that pump your veins  can ease you mind and take you off of what you was mad at. It relief some stress and whatever you was extremely mad at make everything else don’t even matter anyone. But how about, you home alone and your system is on max listening to "crank music" and that bass is hitting off your head and entering your soul. So now you actually feel you so you decide to “bug out” with the beat just because you couldn't hold on in. Once again that’s the music taking control over your body.
Being without music is more like being without a phone in teenage timing “it’s not possible”.  Music helps basically through anything and everything and that’s a powerful tool

Individualism in Group

Being in a group has a strong way on how individuals react on any situation differently than as they would in a group. In the article "Individualism in Groups" by Carol Tavris well explains how this hypothesis maybe true. In the article , it compares how individuals and groups would normal react dealing with an difficult situations, weather it's diffusion or either bringing more of a individual out. After reading this article and thinking on some experiences. I strongly agree with this statement that "They think and act differently than they would on their own" Once I was outside around my way and I saw this little kids beating up on someone they equal. Normally I would go to the riot and try to stop it if I was alone but meaning I wasn't, I just stood still and just watch. Inside me just wanted to react on it but meaning that I had so many people in my ear about it, I didn't know what to do. When I saw an older guy sprint to the fight, that's when I snapped back in reality and begin to help the older guy brake up the fight. "Students who were on their own usually hesitated a minute, got up, checked the vents and then went out to report what certainly seemed like a fire." After reading that line it reminded me on the time I was watching MIB: Men In Black and Will Smith told everyone to move in front of the cart and you saw a couple of people hestiating but no one moves until they saw that emorgous worm eating the cart and that's when everyone decided they wanted to move. With those examples in mind clearly made me understand that "They think and act differently then they would on their own" is true. It clearly indicates that people would move more faster if they were alone just because they don't know what others may think or even follow.

It's effecting because it take total control even you done listening to a song. It gives that playback that just make you want to take control and play it over. No other thing ever made humans have that type of affect over them, which they feel the cant live without music!
